Anderson’s Three Points Help Ice Beat Adrenaline

ADELAIDE – In the second game of the double-header, Dylan Anderson, Nate Fleming and Dillon Lawrence all earned 3 points as the Melbourne Ice beat the Adelaide Adrenaline 4-3 in a shootout at the IceArenA on Sunday afternoon.

All three players were involved in the three Ice goals. Dylan Anderson started the scoring for the Ice at 10.03, asssisted by Lawrence and Fleming. Fleming scored his goal at 15.44 of the third period, assisted by Anderson and Lawrence. Lawrence got onto the goal list at 3.10 of the third, assisted by Anderson and Fleming.

Alex Adams scored 1 goals and got 2 assists for 3 points for the Adrenaline, while Josef Rezek scored 1 goals and got 1 assist for 2 points. Steve Best scored the game tying goal 23 seconds remaining in the 3rd, assisted by Alex Adams and Harley Anderson.

Michael James was the winning goalie for Melbourne Ice, making 26 saves on 29 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.897. Sebastian Andersson was the losing goalie for Adelaide Adrenaline, making 38 saves on 41 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.927.
