
NEWCASTLE – Patrick Nadin scored two goals and two points to Liam Manwarring saw the Newcastle Northstars win over the Sydney Ice Dogs 4-3 in a shootout at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Nadin scored his first goal at 8.07 of the first period, with Matt Wetini and Liam Manwarring picking up the assists. Nadin scored his second goal at 4.15 of the first period, with Joseph Harcharik and Liam Manwarring picking up the assists.
Grant Toulmin picked up 2 assists for 2 points for the Ice Dogs. Jonatan Ruth tied the game at 2.18 of the 3rd, assisted by James Marino and Lee Turner.
