ADELAIDE – Three points to Dylan Anderson and Matt Armstrong’s two points helped the Melbourne Ice beat the Adelaide Adrenaline 4-2 at the IceArenA on Saturday afternoon.
Dylan Anderson scored his goal at 5.38 of the first period, short-handed. Nate Fleming picked up the assist on the goal. Anderson’s assists came on goals from Matt Armstrong and Dillon Lawrence.
Matt Armstrong scored 1 goal and got 1 assist for 2 points, and Tom Powell got 2 assists for 2 points. Devon Krogh scored the game winner at 9.30, with Matt Armstrong and Tom Powell getting the assists.
Ales Kratoska scored both Adrenaline goals. His first goal at 4.10 of the first period, with Josef Rezek and Caleb Apperson picking up the assists. Kratoska scored his second goal at 9.17 of the third period, with Steve Best and Caleb Apperson picking up the assists.
Michael James was the winning goalie for Melbourne Ice, making 28 saves on 30 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.933.
