
CANBERRA – Chris Leveille found the back of the net twice and Wehebe Darge earned three points as the CBR Brave crushed the Melbourne Ice 5-0 at the Phillip Swimming & Ice Skating Centre on Saturday evening.
The first goal for Leveille was scored at 2:26 of the first period, with Wehebe Darge and Channing Bresciani picking up the assists. Leveille scored his second goal at 2:36 of the second period, with Wehebe Darge and Per Daniel Göransson picking up the assists.
Wehebe Darge scored one goal and two assists for three points, and Hayden Dawes scored one goal and one assist for two points.
Channing Bresciani got two assists for two points.
Mat Hewitt was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 25 saves on 25 shots, for a Save Percentage of 1.000. Michael James was the losing goalie for Melbourne Ice, making 17 saves on 22 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.773.
