
MELBOURNE – Bryan Kolodziejczyk scored two goals and Grant Toulmin earned two points as the Sydney Ice Dogs beat the Melbourne Ice 4-3 in a shootout at the O’Brien Group Arena on Sunday afternoon.
Kolodziejczyk’s first goal came at 17:10 of the third period, with Geordie Wudrick and Toulmin picking up the assists. Kolodziejczyk scored his second goal, which tied the game, at 8:48 of the third period, with Alec Stephenson getting the assist.
Toulmin scored one goal and one assist for two points.
Geordie Wudrick and Alec Stephenson got two assists each for two points each.
Curtis Skip was the winning goalie for Sydney Ice Dogs, making 40 saves on 43 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.930. Jaden Pine-Murphy was the losing goalie for Melbourne Ice, making 12 saves on 15 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.800.
