
CANBERRA – A goal and an assist to Mitchell Humphries and Benjamin Davies tallied two points as the Melbourne Mustangs won over the CBR Brave 4-1 at the Phillip Swimming & Ice Skating Centre on Saturday evening.
Mitchell Humphries scored at 16:31 of the third period, assisted by Sean Jones and Benjamin Davies.
Benjamin Davies got two assists for two points.
Brendan McDowell scored the game winning goal at 8:50 of the 2nd, assisted by Benjamin Davies and Mitchell Humphries.
Kai Miettinen scored the lone goal for the Brave at 4:01 of the first period. The goal was assisted by David Lewis and Wehebe Darge.
Petri Pitkänen was the winning goalie for Melbourne Mustangs, making 21 saves on 22 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.955. Matt Hewitt was the losing goalie for CBR Brave, making 20 saves on 24 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.833.
