Oslanski’s Two Help Thunder Defeat Northstars

NEWCASTLE – Two goals to Landon Oslanski and Benjamin Breault tallied two points as the Perth Thunder beat the Newcastle Northstars 4-3 in a shootout at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium on Saturday evening.

Oslanski scored his first goal, a power play goal, at 10:04 of the first period, with Benjamin Breault and Pier-Olivier Grandmaison picking up the assists. Oslanski’s second goal came at 11:58 of the third period, with Pier-Olivier Grandmaison and Jason McMahon picking up the assists.

Benjamin Breault and Pier-Olivier Grandmaison got two assists for two points each.

Sammy Banga scored one goal and two assists for three points for the Northstars, and Joseph Harcharik got two assists for two points.

Peter Di Salvo was the winning goalie for Perth Thunder, making 29 saves on 32 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.906. Dayne Davis was the losing goalie for Newcastle Northstars, making 26 saves on 29 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.897.
