
SYDNEY – Benjamin Breault scored two goals and Landon Oslanski tallied two points as the Perth Thunder defeated the Sydney Ice Dogs 3-2 at the Macquarie Ice Rink on Sunday evening.
Breault scored his first goal, a power play goal, at 7:48 of the first period, with Oslanski and Andrew Cox picking up the assists. The second goal for Breault, a short handed goal, was scored at 5:39 of the first period unassisted.
Landon Oslanski got two assists for two points.
Tomek Sak scored the game winning goal at 11:29 of the 3rd, assisted by Oslanski and Jordan Kyros.
Todd Stephenson and Bryan Kolodziejczyk were the goal scorers for the Ice Dogs, and Cameron Todd got two assists for two points.
Peter Di Salvo was the winning goalie for Perth Thunder, making 29 saves on 31 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.935. Curtis Skip was the losing goalie for Sydney Ice Dogs, making 23 saves on 26 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.885.
