Leveille and Harvey Score Two Each As Brave Win Over Adrenaline

ADELAIDE – Two goals to Chris Leveille and two goals to Matthew Harvey helped the CBR Brave win over the Adelaide Adrenaline 6-2 at the IceArenA on Sunday afternoon.

The first goal for Leveille, a short handed goal, was scored at 13:15 of the first period, with James Byers and Wehebe Darge picking up the assists. Leveille scored his second goal at 11:01 of the second period, with Wehebe Darge and Ainars Podzins picking up the assists.

The first goal for Harvey was scored at 7:41 of the second period, with Chris Leveille and Ainars Podzins picking up the assists. Harvey’s second goal came at 1:30 of the second period, with Chris Leveille and Bayley Kubara picking up the assists.

Ainars Podzins scored one goal and three assists for four points, and Wehebe Darge scored one goal and two assists for three points.

Alex Adams and Dylan Pope got two assists each for two points apiece for the Adrenaline.

Mat Hewitt was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 8 saves on 8 shots, for a Save Percentage of 1.000. Hewitt left the game at the start of the 3rd period. Jakob Doornbos took over from Hewitt, and made 10 saves on 12 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.833. Sebastian Andersson was the losing goalie for Adelaide Adrenaline, making 37 saves on 43 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.860.
