
SYDNEY – Alexander Wardlaw scored two goals and four points to Ryan Lough helped the Sydney Bears demolished the Melbourne Ice 7-1 at the Macquarie Ice Rink on Saturday evening.
The first goal for Wardlaw, a short handed goal, was scored at 16:30 of the third period unassisted. Wardlaw’s second goal came at 0:24 of the third period, with Ryan Lough and Michael Schlamp picking up the assists.
Lough scored one goal and three assists for four points.
The first goal for Adams was scored at 3:42 of the second period, with Ryan Annesley and Schlamp picking up the assists. Adams’ second goal, a power play goal, came at 7:39 of the third period, with Annesley and Lough picking up the assists.
Annesley got two assists for two points, and Schlamp scored the game winning goal at 8:00 of the 1st, assisted by Adams and Lough.
Devon Krogh scored the lone Ice goal at 8:36 of the second period, assisted by Robert Clark and Cassian Delsar.
Anthony Kimlin was the winning goalie for Sydney Bears, making 33 saves on 34 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.971. James Downie was the losing goalie for Melbourne Ice, making 16 saves on 23 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.696.
