Adams Gets Three Points As Bears Defeat Thunder

SYDNEY – Three points to Charles Adams and Ryan Lough tallied two points as the Sydney Bears won over the Perth Thunder 4-1 at the Macquarie Ice Rink on Sunday evening.

Charles Adams opened the Bears’ scoring, with a goal at 9:02 of the second period. The goal was assisted by Ryan Annesley and Tyerell Clare.

Michael Schlamp scored the game winning goal at 18:50 of the 3rd, assisted by Brian Funes and Ryan Lough. Lough finished the game with one goal and one assist for two points.

Tyerell Clare and Ryan Annesley got two assists for two points each for the Bears.

Andrew Cox scored the lone goal for the Thunder at 0:34 of the first period, assisted by Jonathon Bremner and James Woodman.

Anthony Kimlin was the winning goalie for Sydney Bears, making 23 saves on 24 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.958. Peter Di Salvo was the losing goalie for Perth Thunder, making 44 saves on 48 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.917.
