Goal By Strukoff Sets Up Bears Shootout Win Over Thunder

PERTH – A goal at 18:29 of the 3rd period to Graeme Strukoff tied the game and helped the Sydney Bears win in the shootout over the Perth Thunder 3-2 at the Perth Ice Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Ryan Lough opened the scoring with a goal at 1:28 of the first period, assisted by Ryan Annesley and Charles Adams

Graeme Strukoff scored the game tying goal at 18:29 of the third, assisted by Michael Schlamp.

Benjamin Breault scored one goal and one assist for two points for the Thunder, and Pier-Olivier Grandmaison got two assists for two points.

Anthony Kimlin was the winning goalie for Sydney Bears, making 35 saves on 37 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.946. Peter Di Salvo was the losing goalie for Perth Thunder, making 39 saves on 41 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.951.
