SYDNEY – Five goals to Bryan Kolodziejczyk and Grant Toulmin earned five points as the Sydney Ice Dogs crushed the Sydney Bears 7-2 at the Macquarie Ice Rink on Friday night.

Kolodziejczyk’s first goal came at 14:06 of the first period, with Grant Toulmin and Geordie Wudrick picking up the assists. The second goal for Kolodziejczyk was scored at 13:38 of the first period, with David Dunwoodie and Grant Toulmin picking up the assists. The third goal for Kolodziejczyk, a power play goal, was scored at 2:44 of the first period, with Grant Toulmin and Tomas Manco picking up the assists. Kolodziejczyk’s fourth goal came at 12:23 of the second period, with Geordie Wudrick and Grant Toulmin picking up the assists. Kolodziejczyk’s fifth goal, a power play goal, came at 18:01 of the third period, with Grant Toulmin and Cameron Todd picking up the assists.

Grant Toulmin got five assists for five points. Geordie Wudrick scored one goal and two assists for three points, and Cameron Todd scored one goal and two assists for three points.

Ryan Lough and Graeme Strukoff were the goal scorers for the Bears.

Anthony Kimlin was the losing goalie for Sydney Bears, making 21 saves on 27 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.778. Kimlin left the game at the start of the third period.
