Darge Scores Two As Brave Demolish Ice

MELBOURNE – Wehebe Darge and Trevor Gerling scored two goals each as the CBR Brave blew away the Melbourne Ice 7-0 at the O’Brien Group Arena on Saturday evening.

The first goal for Darge was scored at 14:34 of the first period, with Chris Leveille and Trevor Gerling picking up the assists. The second goal for Darge, a power play goal, was scored at 17:19 of the third period, with Channing Bresciani and Chris Leveille picking up the assists.

Gerling’s first goal came at 4:46 of the first period, with Wehebe Darge and Chris Leveille picking up the assists. Gerling’s second goal, a short handed goal, came at 12:28 of the third period, with Channing Bresciani and Wehebe Darge picking up the assists.

Chris Leveille scored one goal and three assists for four points. Channing Bresciani got three assists for three points.

Matt Hewitt was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 15 saves on 15 shots, for a Save Percentage of 1.000. Michael James was the losing goalie for Melbourne Ice, making 36 saves on 43 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.837.
