Lough Scores Two As Bears Win Over Thunder

MELBOURNE – Ryan Lough scored two goals and two points to Charles Adams helped the Sydney Bears defeat the Perth Thunder 3-0 in the AIHL second semi final at the O’Brien Group Arena on Saturday evening.

Lough’s first goal came at 12:54 of the second period, with Ryan Annesley and Etienne Du Toit picking up the assists. The second goal for Lough was scored at 0:48 of the third period, with Charles Adams getting the assist.

Charles Adams scored the game winning goal at 0:55 of the 1st, assisted by Graeme Strukoff.

Anthony Kimlin was the winning goalie for Sydney Bears, making 25 saves on 25 shots, for a Save Percentage of 1.000. Peter Di Salvo was the losing goalie for Perth Thunder, making 30 saves on 33 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.606. Di Salvo left the game at 19:21 of the third period.
