
MELBOURNE – Two goals to Christian Isackson and a goal to Mitchell Humphries saw the Melbourne Mustangs win over the Adelaide Adrenaline 6-2 at the O’Brien Icehouse on Saturday evening.
The first goal for Isackson was scored at 7:39 of the first period, with Bradley Apps and Jamie Bourke picking up the assists. Isackson scored his second goal at 4:51 of the third period, with Sean Jones and Michael McMahon picking up the assists.
Mitchell Humphries scored the game winning goal at 7:16 of the 1st, assisted by Matt Anderson. Humphries also picked up one assist for two points on the night.
Jamie Bourke and Matt Anderson each scored one goal and one assist for two points.
Zach Boyle scored one goal and one assist for two points for the Adrenaline, while Josef Rezek got two assists for two points.
Jaden Pine-Murphy was the winning goalie for Melbourne Mustangs, making 14 saves on 16 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.875.
Jesse Gordichuk was the losing goalie for Adelaide Adrenaline, making 44 saves on 50 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.880.
