
SYDNEY – Michael Schlamp scored two goals and three points to Timothy Newmark helped the Sydney Bears demolished the Sydney Ice Dogs 8-3 at the Macquarie Ice Rink on Saturday .
The first goal for Schlamp was scored at 8:42 of the first period, with Ryan Lough and Justin Vienneau picking up the assists. Schlamp scored his second goal at 11:34 of the second period, with Ryan Annesley and Ryan Lough picking up the assists.
Timothy Newmark scored one goal and two assists for three points. Vladimir Rubes and Jeremy Brücker each scored one goal and one assist for two points.
Michael Schlamp also tallied two assists, for a total of four points. Ryan Lough got three assists for three points, and Ryan Annesley got two assists for two points.
William Lamoureux scored the game winning goal at 7:39 of the 2nd, assisted by Ryan Lough.
Lee Turner and Strat Allen each got two assists for two points for the Ice Dogs. Goals were scored by Grant Toulmin, Connor Bulger and Matthew Monaghan.
Anthony Kimlin was the winning goalie for the Bears, making 26 saves on 29 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.897.
Garrett Bartus was the losing goalie for the Ice Dogs, making 13 saves on 18 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.722. Bartus left the game at 8:03 of the second period. Nicholas Novysedlak came in and made 9 saves on 12 shots, for a save percentage of 0.750.
