
PERTH – Three points to Christian Isackson and Brendan McDowell’s two points helped as the Melbourne Mustangs blew away the Perth Thunder 5-0 at the Perth Ice Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Christian Isackson scored his goal at 2:50 of the third period, assisted by Maxime Langelier-Parent and Patrick O’Kane. Isackson picked up two assists for three points.
Brendan McDowell and Patrick O’Kane each scored one goal and one assist for two points, while Matt Anderson got two assists for two points.
Jaden Pine-Murphy was the winning goalie for Melbourne Mustangs, making 26 saves on 26 shots, for a Save Percentage of 1.000. Nico Viksten was the losing goalie for Perth Thunder, making 36 saves on 41 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.878.
