Gabaj Scores Four As Northstars Crush Adrenaline

ADELAIDE – Dominik Gabaj scored four goals and Richard Tesarik tallied five points as the Newcastle Northstars smashed the Adelaide Adrenaline 10-3 at the IceArenA on Saturday afternoon.

The first goal for Gabaj, a power play goal, was scored at 12:45 of the first period, with Francis Drolet getting the assist. Gabaj’s second goal, another power play goal, came at 9:17 of the second period, with Sammy Banga getting the assist. The third goal for Gabaj was scored at 0:20 of the second period, with Tomas Landa and Richard Tesarik picking up the assists. Gabaj scored his fourth goal, a short handed goal, at 7:19 of the third period, with Richard Tesarik getting the assist.

Richard Tesarik scored a power play goal at 9:52 of the third period, assisted by Tomas Landa and Liam Manwarring. Tesarik also scored four assists for five points.

Tomas Landa scored one goal and three assists for four points, Francis Drolet scored one goal and two assists for three points, and Sammy Banga got three assists for three points.

Dayne Davis was the winning goalie for Newcastle Northstars, making 23 saves on 26 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.885. Jesse Gordichuk was the losing goalie for Adelaide Adrenaline, making 45 saves on 55 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.818.
