
MELBOURNE – Tim Crowder scored three points and two points to Dylan Manierka-Quaile helped the Sydney Ice Dogs defeat the Melbourne Mustangs 4-3 in a shootout at the O’Brien Icehouse on Saturday evening.
Tim Crowder scored at 13:49 of the second period, assisted by Dylan Manierka-Quaile and Ellesse Carini. Crowder also scored two assists for three points, as well as scoring the shootout winner in the game.
Dylan Manierka-Quaile scored at 11:11 of the third period, assised by both Tim and Paul Crowder. Manierka-Quaile also picked up one assist for two points. Paul Crowder got two assists for two points.
The first goal for Parker Thomas, a power play goal, was scored at 4:31 of the first period, with Michael McMahon and Vadim Virjassov picking up the assists. The second goal for Thomas was scored at 2:48 of the third period, with Vadim Virjassov and Troy Robertson picking up the assists.
Vadim Virjassov got two assists for two points.
Garrett Bartus was the winning goalie for Sydney Ice Dogs, making 42 saves on 45 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.933. Jaden Pine-Murphy was the losing goalie for Melbourne Mustangs, making 14 saves on 17 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.824.
