
ADELAIDE – Dominik Gabaj scored a hat trick and Francis Drolet found the back of the net twice as the Newcastle Northstars demolished the Adelaide Adrenaline 8-2 at the IceArenA on Sunday afternoon.
The first goal for Gabaj was scored at 0:19 of the first period, with Tomas Landa and Richard Tesarik picking up the assists. The second goal for Gabaj was scored at 14:11 of the second period, with Hamish Powell and Richard Tesarik picking up the assists. Gabaj scored his third goal, a power play goal, at 5:28 of the second period, with Ondrej Smach and Francis Drolet picking up the assists.
Drolet scored his first goal at 6:20 of the first period, with Ondrej Smach and Sammy Banga picking up the assists. Drolet’s second goal came at 6:39 of the third period, with Sammy Banga and Ondrej Smach picking up the assists.
