Darge’s Three Points Help Brave Win Over Thunder

PERTH – Wehebe Darge tallied three points and Jordan Draper tallied four points as the CBR Brave beat the Perth Thunder 5-1 at the Perth Ice Arena on Sunday afternoon.

Wehebe Darge scored at 17:48 of the third period, assisted by Brayden Low and Jordan Draper. Darge picked up two assists for three points.

Draper scored a power play goal as 12:32 of the third period, assisted by Darge and Matthew Harvey. Draper also had three assists for four points.

Casey Kubara scored the game winning goal at 0:01 of the 2nd, assisted by Bayley Kubara and Wehebe Darge. Brayden Low got two assists for two points.

Louick Marcotte scored the only Thunder goal at 3:28 of the first period, assisted by Keven Veilleux and Jordan Kyros.

Matthew Climie was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 22 saves on 23 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.957. Nico Viksten was the losing goalie for Perth Thunder, making 46 saves on 51 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.902.
