
PERTH – Jordan Draper found the back of the net twice and Wehebe Darge tallied three points as the CBR Brave defeated the Perth Thunder 5-1 at the Perth Ice Arena on Saturday afternoon.
The first goal for Draper, a short handed goal, was scored at 6:03 of the first period, with Matthew Harvey getting the assist. Draper scored his second goal at 19:38 of the third period, with Brayden Low and Wehebe Darge picking up the assists.
Wehebe Darge got three assists for three points, while both Brayden Low and Hayden Dawes scored one goal and one assist for two points each.
The lone Thunder goal was a power play goal scored by Keven Veilleux with 14 seconds left in the third period. The goal was assisted by Louick Marcotte and Andrew Cox.
Matthew Climie was the winning goalie for the Brave, making 25 saves on 26 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.962. Nico Viksten was the losing goalie for Perth, making 27 saves on 32 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.844.
