Draper Scores Two As Brave Beat Ice Dogs

CANBERRA – Jordan Draper found the back of the net twice and Brayden Low scored three points as the CBR Brave earned a come-from-behind win over the Sydney Ice Dogs 4-3 at the Phillip Ice Skating Centre on Saturday evening.

Draper scored his first goal at 18:05 of the third period, with Brayden Low and Hayden Dawes picking up the assists. The second goal for Draper, a power play goal, was scored at 16:11 of the third period, with Brayden Low and Tyler Mayea picking up the assists.

Draper also picked up two assists for four points on the night.

Brayden Low scored one goal and two assists for three points.

Hayden Dawes scored the game winning goal at 2:05 of the 3rd, assisted by Jordan Draper and Bayley Kubara. Dawes also picked up an assist for two points for the game.

Dylan Manierka-Quaile and Paul Crowder got two assists for two points for the Ice Dogs.

Matthew Climie was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 18 saves on 21 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.857. Garrett Bartus was the losing goalie for Sydney Ice Dogs, making 46 saves on 50 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.920.
