Draper Scores Hat Trick As Brave Defeat Ice Dogs

SYDNEY – Jordan Draper scored a hat trick and two goals to Brayden Low helped in the CBR Brave comeback win over the Sydney Ice Dogs 6-4 at the Macquarie Ice Rink on Saturday evening.

Draper scored his first goal at 17:45 of the third period, with Bayley Kubara and Brayden Low picking up the assists. Draper scored his second goal, a short handed goal, at 14:18 of the third period, with Brayden Low and Hayden Dawes picking up the assists. Draper’s third goal came at 0:28 of the third period unassisted.

The first goal for Low, a power play goal, was scored at 8:23 of the third period, with Andreas Camenzind and Wehebe Darge picking up the assists. Low’s second goal, the game winning goal, came at 4:04 of the third period, with Hayden Dawes getting the assist.

Hayden Dawes got two assists for two points.

Paul Crowder’s first goal for the Ice Dogs came at 8:04 of the second period, with Aiden Sillato and Dylan Manierka-Quaile picking up the assists. The second goal for Crowder, a power play goal, was scored at 15:23 of the third period, with Aiden Sillato and Tim Crowder picking up the assists.

Tim Crowder scored one goal and one assist for two points.

Alex Tetreault was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 16 saves on 20 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.800. Garrett Bartus was the losing goalie for Sydney Ice Dogs, making 39 saves on 45 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.867.
