
CANBERRA – Adam Kambeitz tallied two points and two points to Matthew Harvey helped the CBR Brave defeat the Perth Thunder 6-2 at the Phillip Ice Skating Centre on Sunday afternoon.
Adam Kambeitz scored at 6:29 of the second period, assisted by David Lewis and goalie Matthew Climie. Kambeitz also recorded an assist for two points in the game.
Matthew Harvey scored the first goal of the third period, at 15:35, assisted by Kambeitz and Mitch Henning. Harvey also registered an assist on a goal by Jesse Gabrielle.
Wehebe Darge scored the game winning goal at 4:44 of the 2nd, assisted by Jordan Draper and Bayley Kubara. Jordan Draper and Tyler Kubara got two assists for two points each, and goalie Matthew Climie got two assists for two points.
Kieren Webster and Tomek Sak were the goal scorers for Perth.
Climie was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 27 saves on 29 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.931. Nico Viksten was the losing goalie for Perth Thunder, making 34 saves on 40 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.850.
