
CANBERRA – Joseph Hughes tallied a goal and an assist, and Adam Kambeitz earned three points as the CBR Brave won over the Sydney Bears 5-2 at the Phillip Ice Skating Centre on Saturday evening.
Joseph Hughes scored at 7:37 of the third period, assisted by Kai Miettinen and Wehebe Darge. Hughes als picked up an assist for two points in the game.
Adam Kambeitz got three assists for three points, while Wehebe Darge got two assists for two points.
Jesse Gabrielle scored the game winning goal at 7:40 of the 2nd, assisted by Adam Kambeitz.
Danick Gauthier and Jeremy Brücker were the goal scorers for the Bears. Ryan Annesley got two assists for two points.
Matthew Climie was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 22 saves on 24 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.917. Anthony Kimlin was the losing goalie for Sydney Bears, making 44 saves on 49 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.898.
