Breault Leads The Way, Thunder Beat Adrenaline

PERTH – Benjamin Breault scored two goals and Louick Marcotte earned six points as the Perth Thunder scored five goals in the third period to defeat the Adelaide Adrenaline 7-3 at the Perth Ice Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Breault scored his first goal, a power play goal, at 5:11 of the first period, with Louick Marcotte and Shaun Tobin picking up the assists. Breault’s second goal, a power play goal, came at 13:32 of the third period, with Louick Marcotte and Kieren Webster picking up the assists.

Louick Marcotte scored a power play goal at 5:43 of the third period, assisted by Kevek Veilleux.  Marcotte also picked up five assists for six points.

Keven Veilleux scored the game winning goal at 10:58 of the 3rd, assisted by Louick Marcotte and Robert Haselhurst.

Kieren Webster scored one goal and one assist for two points, while Robert Haselhurst got two assists for two points.

Ales Kratoska scored one goal and one assist for two points for the Adrenaline, with Harley Anderson and Kyle Neuber also scoring.

Nico Viksten was the winning goalie for Perth Thunder, making 25 saves on 28 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.893.  Jesse Gordichuk was the losing goalie for Adelaide Adrenaline, making 36 saves on 43 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.837.
