
SYDNEY – Kasey Kulczycki scored two goals and four points to JM Piotrowski helped the Melbourne Ice defeat the Sydney Ice Dogs 6-4 at the Macquarie Ice Rink on Sunday.
The first goal for Kulczycki was scored at 2:27 of the first period, with JM Piotrowski and Tom Powell picking up the assists. Kulczycki scored his second goal at 6:54 of the second period, with JM Piotrowski and Tom Powell picking up the assists.
JM Piotrowski scored at 1:32 of the third period, assisted by Tom Powell. Piotrowski also picked up three assists for four points.
Thomas Stahlhuth scored the game winning goal at 10:01 of the 3rd, assisted by JM Piotrowski.
Tom Powell got three assists for three points.
Grant Toulmin, Dylan Manierka-Quaile and Tim Crowder all scored one goal and two assists for three points each. Aiden Sillato also scored for the Ice DOgs.
Sebastian Andersson was the winning goalie for Melbourne Ice, making 30 saves on 34 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.882. Garrett Bartus was the losing goalie for Sydney Ice Dogs, making 17 saves on 23 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.739.
