
SYDNEY – A hat trick to Andreas Camenzind and Jordan Draper’s two goals helped the CBR Brave demolish the Sydney Ice Dogs 7-1 at the Macquarie Ice Rink on Sunday.
The first goal for Camenzind, a power play goal, was scored at 7:55 of the second period, with Jesse Gabrielle and Jordan Draper picking up the assists. Camenzind’s second goal was scored at 1:04 of the second period, with Jordan Draper picking up the assist. Camenzind scored his third goal at 16:15 of the third period, with Jesse Gabrielle and Bayley Kubara picking up the assists.
Draper’s first goal came at 14:39 of the first period, with Jesse Gabrielle picking up the assist. Draper’s second goal, which turned out to be the game winner, came at 14:04 of the second period, with Matthew Harvey and Jesse Gabrielle picking up the assists.
Wehebe Darge and Conor Riley scored one goal and one assist for two points, while Jesse Gabrielle got four assists for four points.
Tim Crowder scored the lone goal for the Ice Dogs at 15:21 of the third period, assisted by Dylan Manierke-Quaile.
Alex Tetreault was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 27 saves on 28 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.964. Garrett Bartus was the losing goalie for Sydney Ice Dogs, making 38 saves on 45 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.844.
