Steven Scores Two As Bears Beat Ice

MELBOURNE – Thomas Steven scored two goals and an assist and Danick Gauthier scored two goals as the Sydney Bears won over the Melbourne Ice 5-4 at the O’Brien Icehouse on Saturday evening.

Steven’s first goal came at 10:06 of the second period, with Jeremy Brucker and Taegan Rippon picking up the assists. Steven’s second goal came at 0:14 of the second period, with Ryan Annesley and Timothy Newmark picking up the assists.

Gauthier’s first goal came at 5:48 of the second period, with Timothy Newmark and Jake Ratcliffe picking up the assists. The second goal for Gauthier was scored at 5:05 of the third period, with Ryan Annesley and Timothy Newmark picking up the assists.

Jeremy Brucker scored one goal and one assist for two points.

Ryan Annesley got two assists for two points.

Taegan Rippon got two assists for two points.

Tom Powell scored one goal and three assists for four points.

Kasey Kulczycki scored one goal and two assists for three points.
