
CANBERRA – Adam Kambeitz scored two goals and Jesse Gabrielle found the back of the net twice as the CBR Brave demolished the Adelaide Adrenaline 7-2 at the Phillip Ice Skating Centre on Saturday evening.
Kambeitz scored his first goal at 4:30 of the second period, with Jesse Gabrielle and Nick Christensen picking up the assists. The second goal for Kambeitz was scored at 4:00 of the second period, with Jesse Gabrielle and Hayden Dawes picking up the assists.
The first goal for Gabrielle was scored at 10:16 of the first period, with Adam Kambeitz and Jordon Brunt picking up the assists. Gabrielle’s second goal came at 1:59 of the third period, with Adam Kambeitz and Mitchell Henning picking up the assists.
Hayden Dawes scored the game winning goal at 9:39 of the 1st, assisted by Casey Kubara and Mitchell Henning.
Casey Kubara scored one goal and one assist for two points. Mitchell Henning got three assists for three points, and Nick Christensen got two assists for two points.
Ales Kratoska’s first goal for the Adrenaline came at 7:54 of the third period, with Marcel McGuiness picking up the assist. Kratoska’s second goal came at 7:22 of the third period, with assists going to Benjamin Gavoille and Jake Riley.
Matthew Climie was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 23 saves on 25 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.920. Glen Forbes-White was the losing goalie for Adelaide Adrenaline, making 47 saves on 54 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.870.
