Game Review: Ratcliffe’s Two Help Bears Win Over Ice Dogs

SYDNEY – Jake Ratcliffe scored two goals and Adam Dauda scored two goals to help the the Sydney Bears beat the Sydney Ice Dogs 4-3 at the Macquarie Ice Rink on Friday night.

Ratcliffe scored his first goal at 17:39 of the third period, with Timothy Newmark and Adam Dauda picking up the assists. Ratcliffe’s second goal came at 17:14 of the third period, with Adam Dauda and Danick Gauthier picking up the assists.

The first goal for Dauda was scored at 19:29 of the third period, with Jake Ratcliffe and Danick Gauthier picking up the assists. The second goal for Dauda was scored at 12:30 of the third period, with Ryan Annesley and Danick Gauthier picking up the assists.

Danick Gauthier got three assists for three points.

Tim Crowder scored his first goal for the Ice Dogs, a power play goal, at 11:08 of the third period, with Matthew Monaghan and Jeremy Vasquez picking up the assists. Crowder scored his second goal at 0:19 of the third period, with Paul Crowder and Dylan Manierka-Quaile picking up the assists.

Matthew Monaghan scored one goal and one assist for two points, while Dylan Manierka-Quaile got two assists for two points.

Anthony Kimlin was the winning goalie for Sydney Bears, making 22 saves on 25 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.880.  Garrett Bartus was the losing goalie for Sydney Ice Dogs, making 25 saves on 29 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.862. Bartus left the game at 19:18 of the third period.
