Game Review: Moquin, Dauda Score Hat Tricks As Bears Blow Away Adrenaline

SYDNEY – Christopher Moquin and Adam Dauda each scored a hat trick as the Sydney Bears demolished the Adelaide Adrenaline 8-3 at the Macquarie Ice Rink on Saturday evening.

The first goal for Moquin was scored at 9:41 of the second period, with Ryan Annesley and Jake Ratcliffe picking up the assists. Moquin’s second goal came at 9:20 of the third period, with assists to Jake Ratcliffe and Ryan Annesley. Moquin’s third goal, a short handed goal, came at 6:13 of the third period unassisted.

Dauda scored his first goal at 9:17 of the first period, with Michael Schlamp and picking up the assists. The second goal for Dauda, a power play goal, was scored at 5:05 of the first period, with Timothy Newmark and Brian Funes picking up the assists. Dauda scored his third goal, a short handed goal, at 2:27 of the second period unassisted.

Jake Ratcliffe scored one goal and three assists for four points, and Ryan Annesley got four assists for four points.

The Adrenaline got goals from Jake Riley, Joey MacDougall and Harley Anderson.  Remy McGuiness and Zach Boyle got two assists for two points.

Aston Brookes was the winning goalie for Sydney Bears, making 22 saves on 25 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.880.  Glen Forbes-White was the losing goalie for Adelaide Adrenaline, making 30 saves on 38 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.789.
