Darge Leads The Way, Brave Win Over Ice

MELBOURNE – Two goals to Wehebe Darge and Andy Camenzind earned three points as the CBR Brave defeated the Melbourne Ice 6-4 at the O’Brien Icehouse on Sunday afternoon.

Darge scored his first goal at 12:06 of the first period, with Jordon Brunt getting the assist. The second goal for Darge was scored at 14:51 of the second period, with Andy Camenzind and Casey Kubara picking up the assists.

Andy Camenzind scored the game winning goal at 12:27 of the 2nd, assisted by Casey Kubara and Jamie Woodman.  Camenzind picked up two assists for three points in the game.

Mitchell Henning and Jordon Brunt scored one goal and one assist each for two points each.  Casey Kubara and Jamie Woodman got two assists each for two points each.

Josh Walt and Lachie Cincotta got two assists each for two points each for the Ice.

Alex Tetreault was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 24 saves on 28 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.857.

Michael James was the losing goalie for Melbourne Ice, making 38 saves on 44 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.864.
