
CANBERRA – Four goals to Andy Camenzind and Wehebe Darge earned four points as the CBR Brave won over the Melbourne Ice 7-3 at the Phillip Ice Skating Centre on Sunday evening.
Camenzind scored his first goal at 19:26 of the first period, with Jordon Brunt getting the assist. Camenzind’s second goal, a power play goal, came at 8:11 of the second period, with Wehebe Darge getting the assist. Camenzind scored his third goal at 9:22 of the third period, with Mario Valery-Trabucco getting the assist. Camenzind scored his fourth goal, a power play goal, at 3:52 of the third period, with Wehebe Darge getting the assist.
Wehebe Darge scored one goal and three assists for four points.
Mario Valery-Trabucco scored the game winning goal at 12:51 of the 3rd, assisted by Andy Camenzind. Valery-Trabucco also picked up two assists for three points.
Jordon Brunt scored one goal and one assist for two points.
Daniel Machin scored the first Melbourne Ice goal at 16:41 of the first period, assisted by Timothy Nikitin.
Zach Boyle scored the second Ice goal at 9:43 of the first, with the assist to Christian Pansino.
Josh Walt scored the Ice’s third goal unassisted at 10:37 of the third period.
Aleksi Toivonen was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 39 saves on 42 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.929. Michael James was the losing goalie for Melbourne Ice, making 39 saves on 46 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.848.
