
MELBOURNE – Christian Pansino tallied three points and Daniel Machin tallied two points as the Melbourne Ice defeated the Sydney Bears 5-2 at the O’Brien Icehouse on Sunday afternoon.
Christian Pansino scored his goal at 2:30 of the third period, assisted by Rob Clark and Daniel Machin. Pansino also got two assists for three points.
Robert Clark scored the game winning goal at 8:43 of the 3rd, assisted by Austin McKenzie and Kahu Joyce. Clark also got one assist for two points.
Daniel Machin scored one goal and one assist for two points. Sam Hodic and Ryan Foll also scored for the Ice.
Kahu Joyce got two assists for two points, with Zach Boyle, Paul Lazzarotto and Austin McKenzie getting one assist each.
Tomas Landa scored one goal and one assist for two points for the Bears, and Alexander Gauthier got two assists for two points.
Michael James was the winning goalie for Melbourne Ice, making 22 saves on 24 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.917. Glen Forbes-White was the losing goalie for Sydney Bears, making 16 saves on 21 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.762.
