MELBOURNE – Jeremy Brücker scored two goals and three points to Tomas Landa helped the Sydney Bears win over the Melbourne Ice 6-3 at the O’Brien Icehouse on Saturday evening.

Brücker scored his first goal at 15:38 of the second period, with Tomas Landa and Robert Haselhurst picking up the assists. Brücker’s second goal, a short handed goal, came at 12:36 of the third period, with Jake Ratcliffe and Tyerell Clare picking up the assists.

Tomas Landa scored the game winning goal at 0:03 of the 2nd, assisted by Michael Poirier and Jake Ratcliffe.  Landa also picked up two assists for three points.

Michael Poirier scored one goal and one assist for two points.  Jake Ratcliffe got three assists for three points, and Tyerell Clare got two assists for two points.

Josh Walt scored his first goal for the Ice at 19:37 of the second period, with Christian Pansino and Sam Hodic picking up the assists. The second goal for Walt was scored at 10:48 of the second period, with Nathan Cachia and Sam Hodic picking up the assists.

Sam Hodic got two assists for two points.

Glen Forbes-White was the winning goalie for Sydney Bears, making 30 saves on 33 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.909.  Michael James was the losing goalie for Melbourne Ice, making 60 saves on 66 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.909.
