CANBERRA – Game Review – Garret Cockerill scored three points and Mario Valery-Trabucco tallied two points as the CBR Brave defeated the Melbourne Mustangs 6-4 at the Phillip Ice Skating Centre on Sunday afternoon.

Garret Cockerill got three assists for three points, all coming in the third period as the Brave fought back from a 3-1 second period deficit.

Mario Valery-Trabucco scored one goal and one assist for two points, while Mitchell Henning got two assists for two points.

Casey Kubara scored the game winning goal at 2:42 of the 3rd, assisted by Mitchell Henning and Mike Giorgi.

The first goal for Scott Timmins for the Mustangs was scored at 3:46 of the first period, with Ty Wishart getting the assist. Timmins’ second goal came at 11:56 of the second period, with Ty Wishart and Mitchell Humphries picking up the assists.

Mitchell Humphries scored one goal and one assist for two points, while Ty Wishart got two assists for two points.

Alex Tetreault was the winning goalie for CBR Brave, making 26 saves on 30 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.867.  Sebastian Woodlands was the losing goalie for Melbourne Mustangs, making 47 saves on 53 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.887.
