Austin McKenzie scored the game winning goal at 3:01 of overtime, assisted by Josh Walt.
Daniel Berno opened the scoring for the Northstars at 13:08 of the first period, assisted by Mackenzie Gallagher and Robert Malloy.
Francis Drolet extended the Northstars’ lead with a powerplay goal at 12:46, with assists going to Beau Taylor and Shane Southwood.
Zach Boyle scored the first goal for the Ice with a power play goal at 2:36 of the second period, assisted by Paul Lazzarotto.
Christian Pansino tied the game at 4:41 of the third period, assisted by Mackenzie Caruana and Sam Hodic.
