MELBOURNE – GAME REVIEW – Kenshin Hayashi found the back of the net twice and four points to Alexander Gauthier helped the Sydney Bears beat the Melbourne Mustangs 7-3 in the First Semi Final at the O’Brien Icehouse on Friday evening.

Hayashi scored his first goal at 6:33 of the third period, with Robert Haselhurst and Anthony Kimlin picking up the assists. The second goal for Hayashi was scored at 4:45 of the third period, with Michael Poirier and Tyerell Clare picking up the assists.

Alexander Gauthier scored one goal and three assists for four points.

Tomas Landa and Michael Poirier scored one goal and two assists for three points each.

Robert Haselhurst got two assists for two points.

Ty Wishart got two assists for two points for the Mustangs.

Anthony Kimlin was the winning goalie for Sydney Bears, making 33 saves on 36 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.917.  Sebastian Woodlands was the losing goalie for Melbourne Mustangs, making 31 saves on 37 shots, for a Save Percentage of 0.838.
